Bf Get mad when i say mhm

So he doesn’t like when i come off to him and say mhm when he’s asking me a question. For instance he said give me.m a hug show me some love . He said that when i came back n his room so i said mmhmm he got upset because he said it make him think i don’t care then he says i know somebody who won’t say that when i tell them can i get hug. Then he states u don’t have to worry no more about me asking u to show me love. N it’s rude to say mhm .

So do y’all think this is dumb to get mad over?

i do. Yeah it does come off rude but it ain’t that serious but he did tell me before on multiple occasions how he doesn’t like me saying mhmm it comes off rude n it is rude
