i will not lie, i have had really bad history with boyfriends. all of them were jerks, drug dealers, and were completely irresponsible with life. but i’m finally with a guy who doesn’t do things like that and doesn’t treat me like trash. he’s kinda introverted but still made an effort to get to know my family, comes over plays with my little siblings and will even come inside to say hi to everyone when he’s just picking me up. he treats me like a princess and he really is my dream come true. this is my first boyfriend that my mom and family has liked, so he gets invited to family dinners and our outings sometimes. we saw each other a lot (we’ve been together 7 months now) but all of a sudden my mom barely lets me see him?? i’m gonna be 18 in august and this is the first time she’s made it impossible for me to go and see anyone. she didn’t let me see him for about two and a half weeks to “quarantine” but would go out to my aunts house or go shopping for hours instead of being home. she finally let me see him on monday but i was only with him for a few hours but hasn’t let me see him since. i asked to see him again today and we kind of talked about the whole situation but she keeps telling me that she won’t let me see him every day because she “thinks it’s best for me”. i just have no idea what to do anymore. i feel like she has something against him but i can’t see what it is at all
