So this past Monday my son got the tongue tie release surgery. He is 20 weeks old, so older than the average baby for this surgery. Why none of his doctors looked before, I don’t know, but this is where we are.

Anyway, because he is older and more aware, doing the exercises can be....challenging.... and I’m TERRIFIED that if I’m doing the tongue lift wrong then it will heal badly. I’m terrified. 😣

I’m doing the tongue exercises and neck stretches 4 times a day.

Does anyone here have experience with the tongue tie on an older baby? Or just being worried you were doing it wrong but things ended up being perfectly fine? I guess I’m just looking for some reassurance. I’m so worried. What are the chances that it can heal wrong? 😖gahhhhhh
