Nipple pain while breastfeeding...

I have a 2 year old I'm nursing and I've had my period back since 9 months pp so my periods are pretty regular now. My cycles are any where between 24 and 27 days long. I'm on day 21 now. We had a lot of sex during my ovulation window BUT hubs had a vasectomy over a year ago (he never had his sperm count checked though🙄) anyways yesterday morning my nipples started to hurt really bad while nursing. This doesn't usually happen before my period so I'm curious if I am pregnant would nipple pain happen this soon?
