Hypoglycemia after 1 hour glucose?

Anyone have a low glucose reading after 1 hour test? Mine was 49. That’s really low. I’m also dealing with low platelets (108)

Yes my first pregnancy I went really low and was told to never do the glucola again. This pregnancy and my last I just did finger sticks at home. I passed out and my one hour blood sugar was in the 30s. They had me go to primary care who scratched his head and told me I had hypoglycemia. No surprise there.

I also have low platelets. I have had them for about 4 years though. 108 isn’t anything to worry about though, that’s still actually a fairly decent number. You could still have an epidural with that number without any concerns. The lowest mine were, was when I delivered my last baby, and they were 88 and I could still have an epidural. Some hospitals won’t let you have one if your platelets are lower than 90 though. But 108 is pretty good considering. No steroids or platelet transfusions are needed until you get much lower.
