So this is what it’s come to 😪

My baby boy has had terrible eczema since he was about a month and half old and it’s only gotten worse. We’ve followed every direction from his pediatrician and even got referred to a dermotologist and he still isn’t getting better. We’ve tried vanicream, eucerin, steroid cream, tubby Todd ointment, chamomile compresses, diluted ACV and NOTHING is working. Just started oatmeal baths. It wouldn’t be so bad if he didn’t scratch - I only have 2 hands and he’s so quick! My husband works during the day. I keep scratch mittens on him and keep his nails short but he’s learned to take them off. And he’s also learned how to scratch without using his hands - he rubs his head raw on whatever he’s laying on, scratches his calves with his feet, and if I’m holding him and have both arms pinned down he uses my chest and bra strap to scratch his cheeks. My poor baby scratches so much he’s SKINNED. His dermotologist said not to put bandaids on him but fuck that because he’s just scratching raw open skin! This is all coinciding with the 4 month sleep regression and a mental leap so he’s just extremely fussy and cries a lot right now. I just wish he was better and could find something to do, especially because soon I’m gonna have no choice but to stop swaddling him at night and then he’ll have free reign to scratch all night! ☹️ I’m tired and stressed out.
