Laser acupuncture for day of FET?

Was anyone offered laser acupuncture for the day of their FET? It’s 10 minutes for and 10 minutes after transfer. I’m not sure what the benefits are. I think they’ll give me more info on Monday but I wanted to know what it’s like.

It was offered at my clinic and I did it. It was painless and took less then 10 minutes, although it was only offered for after the procedure. I am 35 weeks currently!

This is called the “paulus protocol” if you want to do some reading on it, it’s named after a study done on the effects of acupuncture on IVF patients.  It wasn’t a service provided by my particular clinic but they did allow your acupuncturist in for patients who asked. I know a different clinic in the area has an on-site acupuncturist! 
I decided to have an hour treatment prior to attending our clinic (appointment at 11 - 12 and transfer was 1pm) and had another session the day after. For me it gave me a sense of calm and I went in to our transfer relaxed and content. I’m currently 10 weeks ☺️

Nope! Wasn't on offer. Had fresh transfer. Reaaaaaaally hard to have full bladder. Don't think I could have held it that extra 10 mins!
