Specific to mothers who stopped breastfeeding at 12 and 12+ months..

Curious to know why those who stopped breastfeeding did. Is it because your LO turned 12 months and you read that its age appropriate to stop, it just felt right, doctor recommended it, etc.

And to those still breastfeeding, do you plan on stopping at a certain age?

I always thought I would nurse until my daughter turned one and she did in March and I’m having a hard time letting go. Purely emotional reasons on my end and I don’t know if I need to cut the cord or if its justified. She also loves breastfeeding so I feel mean. Looking for honest feedback without causing any mom shame
