Ultrasounds ?

So I’ve had my 20 week ultrasound anatomy scan already. Do we get anymore ultrasounds from now until birth ? This is my first pregnancy.

At my OB’s office you only get two. One dating scan and one anatomy scan unless you’re high risk or something then they’d do more

In our country (the Netherlands) you get the dating scan around 12 weeks, the anatomy around 20 and one to check the position of the baby around 36 weeks

It probably depends on your doctor. For me as long as everything is measuring good, baby moving as it should then my last one was at 20 weeks. I’m choosing to do a 4D at my next appointment (28 weeks).

Definitely depends. This is my second and after my anatomy I didn’t get anymore. I paid for a 3D about 27 weeks but that was a side thing not something my midwife booked.

It all depends on your facility. If you have no known need to check you might not. But some also check closer to birth to make sure baby is in the right place

Depends on where you’re from. I’ve heard of many women who only get the 12 and the 20 week scans.
I get one at every appointment 🤷‍♀️ but I’m from Germany

I would normally get 3 (12, 20 and around 35/36) but since I'm too skinny (according to my BMI🙄) I'm getting 3 more (around 28, 31 en 33 I think).

My doctor has the machine so I get to see my son every visit which makes me feel better. I can’t imagine only having a couple ultra sounds.
