37+3 corona plan...

Becca

So with everything going on my husband and I have prepared for our second daughter's arrival differently than we ever had planned.

A couple weeks ago we sent out a message to our family and friends:

"Dear family and friends,

Zach and I have made the difficult plan for what we are doing to prepare for “baby sister” and how to handle things after she is born. I want to let everyone know what our current plan is and let you all know that we will adjust it accordingly based on the latest virus updates and recommendations.

At this time we are due May 6. There is a chance we will be induced early, on April 29 (more details to follow).

Zach, Zoey, and I will go on complete quarantine April 15. No one in. No one out. (Pray for us)

Jessie has selflessly agreed to move in for that time so that while Zach and I are at the hospital Zoey has someone to be with who we know is clean and safe.

Somehow the 2 week quarantine is the easy part.

Once we bring baby sister home we will be locked down in the house until further notice. Zach will stay working remotely until it’s safe for baby sister and the rest of us.

Unfortunately, this does mean that we will not be accepting any visitors as much as it breaks our hearts. We love you all so much, but we want to spend the rest of our, and baby sister’s, lives with you. This short time will pass and we will all be giving hugs and kisses soon enough!

We love you all. Please let us know if you have any questions or ideas to make this easier."

It's such a strange feeling to know that we won't have our family around to celebrate with us this time.

Is anyone else doing something similar?
