Ok so my boy turned 3 on March 14th. He is still in full time nappies. Although we’ve changed him to pull ups during the day. He will still pee and poo in them though 🤦‍♀️ he’s my 4th and my older 3 where all in full time pants by now. He seems to have developed a fear of having his nappy off. He won’t sit on a potty or the toilet without one on. He gets really upset and anxious if I push it. We’ve bought him his own toilet seat with a step and he won’t use it either. Any attempt at trying to just take off his nappy and sit him down ends in hysterics and anxiety. One day I just removed the nappies and put him in undies and he full out peed himself and sat there in it oblivious. When I tried to clean him up and change him he was hysterical. I called my health visitor and she said maybe he’s not ready and the nursery refused him entry until he’s at least 3/4 trained. I don’t see him getting ang better as time goes on. My MIL said remove the nappies from him completely apart from bed time. Tell him enough and he’s going in pants whether he likes it or not and deal with the mess and he’ll get used to the idea to use potty or be wet and dirty. I think that’s a bit harsh but I don’t know what to do.!Any advice?
