Smart baby monitors??? 😩😩

Hi all! I’m so torn on baby monitors. Between worrying about the possibility of them getting hacked and wondering whether I should purchase one that has a smart monitoring capability such as tracking breathing or heart rate. The owlet is so so expensive and I’m really wondering if it’s worth it or not, then there’s angelcare but I’ve seen bad reviews on battery life and things. I know every monitor is gonna have their pros and cons. All in all, I’m more focused on ones that can track my baby’s heart rate or breathing, I think it will give me a better piece of mind, I just wish they weren’t so expensive. I’m just wondering if you guys have any suggestions. Thanks!
