Am I weird for making a guy use a condom during oral sex?

So I’m not in a relationship so when I’ve had sex I make the guy use a condom if they want head. And I’ve had guys laugh at me asking if I’m serious? Like yes I’m serious. People act like you can’t catch an STD from oral! Yes it’s a lower chance but still, I don’t want someone’s bare penis in my mouth if I don’t know where it’s been. Is it really that weird? I personally don’t think so, I see it more as being safe.
