Saving some, spent the rest on necessary items such as bills, and a couch since ours is terrible with a large hole we have covered with a blanket so our 1 year old doesnt try to eat the cotton insides

I wasn’t eligible for it since I was claimed on my parents taxes, but I was given $500 because it was decided I should get part of it. I’m trying to save it (since I’m taking summer classes this year and can’t work more than one day a week), but I do want to purchase an Xbox so my SO and I can play together (we’re quarantined apart 😞). However, I can’t bring myself to do it without knowing how much my summer textbooks are.
