Has anyone else gotten a puppy who was the runt of the litter who had probably a 5% chance at life and end up with a freaking giant?! We wanted a smaller dog to take on the road with us in the camper and also to replace/retire our older duck dog (shes 5 and 60 pounds). He is a 5 month old lab and weighing in at 56 pounds. The vet says he will most likely be around 100-110 for a HEALTHY weight by the time he’s 1 1/2! 😳 we absolutely adore him and he is showing a ton of potential for retrieving!
