Does anyone have sex while wearing the menstrual disc?

I recently switched to menstrual discs, which I LOVE, but they say they are great for mess free period sex and I have tried a few times to have sex while using one and it's not worked out so well. My husband can totally feel it and says it's a little bit painful. I'm completely unaware of the disc being there any other time, but I can kind of feel it during sex too. Has anyone else had this issue and been able to find a solution? I'm pretty sure it's in the right position because I never have any other issues. Hopefully someone has some advice because I HATE period sex (beyond hate honestly) and my period lasts on average 8 to 10 days. Eight to ten LONG DAYS that cause minor crankiness from two sexually frustrated people. We have a very active sex life and that departure from our normal routine sucks, so any help would be super appreciated! I've looked other places online for answers with no luck, I'm hoping this is where I will get one! Fingers crossed! Thanks Ladies!🤞
