Eptopic Pregnancy/Emergency Surgery
Back in February I had a miscarriage. It was heart breaking. I was able to conceive again in March.
On Friday night I went to the hospital 7 weeks pregnant with severe cramping on the left side of my abdomen. The ultrasound technician had gone home for the evening so they gave me some morphine and told me to try and sleep. We were going to get an ultrasound in the morning. At about 2:00 a.m. I got up to use the bathroom and fainted. The doctor then preformed an emergency ultrasound and realized that I had an erupted eptopic pregnancy and had lost 1/3 of my blood internally. I received a blood transfusion then was rushed into emergency surgery where they made 5 incisions and removed my left Fallopian tube.
I am lucky to be alive and am so grateful for the nurses and doctors. I am so grateful to the person who donated blood so that I could live, I am grateful to be in a country that we have good healthcare. I could have died. It’s overwhelming to think about.
I am digging as deep as I can and looking to god for answers.
I am broken from the inside out and I don’t know how I am going to mentally get through this. I have now lost 2 pregnancies and a fallopian. I can’t take care of myself or hold my son. I can’t climb into his bed and read to him. Please pray for me, please pray for my recovery and pray that I will be able to conceive healthy pregnancy soon.
