4/13- lost my mucus plug, started spotting brown discharge all day, and contractions started 10-20 min apart.

4/14- brown discharge with bright red blood clot (so I thought) stronger contractions went into L&D at 3am was still 1.5cm dilated sent home. Started feeling worse contractions 5-8 min apart entire day but stayed active on ball took a walk impossible to sleep through contractions. About 11pm contractions were 2-4 min apart very

intense still no sleep and went to bathroom with more bright red blood. L&D said return if I had more bright red blood. So headed in was 4cm dilated. Was admitted at 1125pm contractions every 2-3 min apart. Plan was no epidural pain was intense but was able to get through them n felt like I could make it through by

4/15-4am my body was shaking uncontrollably didn’t sleep for the past two days felt beyond exhausted n was stuck at 5cm. Epidural given around 5am bc I needed to rest if I wanted to push. Broke water around 8am bc I was stuck at 6cm. Mostly fully dilated at 10am started pushing at 10:45 baby arrived at 1134am with umbilical cord wrapped around neck twice n a knot in cord.

After 5 miscarriages I feel beyond blessed and empowered to have this little man in my life💙
