Progesterone???

Question

Finally got my blood work back from the doctor and they mentioned my progesterone levels were low. They said pro. is suppose to help with the pregnancy growth. Now I’m freaking out, this is all new to me. He wants me on it for atleast 12 weeks. I didn’t have these issues with my daughter. Has anyone taken progesterone during pregnancy?

Yeah took it with my first.
It was absolutely fine and didn't have any side effects.
Just another pill I was taking along my vitamins.

My doc said my progesterone was a bit low and prescribed Cyclogest today.  I’m 5 weeks today, I asked what the levels were and was told 50.7 and HCG is 1855. Good luck to you.  Try not to stress.

I’m on progesterone suppositories through at least 10 weeks, same for my last baby.

I did ivf so I’ve been on prog for a couple months (almost 7 weeks now) and I will stay on it through 11 weeks. I take it as an intramuscular injection but I like it, it seems to make my skin nice and I feel good knowing it’s supporting the pregnancy

Taking it now. Was put on last week due to the same reason. My doctor said she wanted to boost it up just a little. My pills are orally, but she suggested I insert them vaginally.
