Cervical mucus and pregnancy

I’m trying to get pregnant & I have never paid much attention to my cervical mucus until now. I don’t really see much of a change in my cm...it’s always white & creamy like. It’s never clear. I’ve taken ovulation test to make sure I’m ovulating after my period goes off, & I’ve gotten positive results. Now I’m just waiting to pop up pregnant. Even though the ovulation test are positive, I’m just concerned that my cervical mucus not changing is delaying my pregnancy, if that makes sense.
