Vaccines?

Anyone else’s doctor not offering them vaccines? I thought for sure mine would but they haven’t. Never got a flu shot and they haven’t said anything about Tdap either. I’m sure if I ask next time I could get one. But I’m just curious since I thought it was pretty standard for them to give these vaccines to pregnant women.

I got my flu shot and my tdap by my ob, she offered them both and I just signed a little form saying I’ve had one in the past and didn’t have a reaction to it and my name and age and then a nurse came in and did them. Had them at different times tho, got the flu shot back in February and got the tdap in late March I believe? But yea she brought them up and recommended them

They dont give the tdap. You have to go into a clinic and get it. That's what my obgyn said. So we arw going into the walk in office ar the Safeway pharmacy to get the tdap just like you can walk in for the flu shot

My dr didn’t mention tdap until 32 weeks and I got it in the office. They said my husband would be able to get it at the hospital. That’s the only vaccine they’ve mentioned so far.

I got both done at the lab in the same building as my doctor. They just called down to let them know I was coming both times.

My doctor doesn’t do it in office but wants me to go to the pharmacy to get it before 36 weeks.

Strange. My doctor will be giving me the TDAP at my next appointment. I would definitely ask about it.

My doc gave me the tdap shot three weeks ago and I was supposed to get my flu shot last week but they never said anything when I went and I didn’t bring it up because I don’t plan on getting it while pregnant

That’s strange they haven’t even talked to you about it yet. My doctor talked over a lot of things at the half way point, that included vaccines. They offer me the Tdap at my 30 week appointment. I would bring it to your doctor.
