I am so scared if I’m pregnant, I’m 16 years old. I don’t want to be pregnant. I know this doesn’t mean anything but I’m 2 days late for my period and I’ve been peeing a lot more than I usually do. I don’t know if I can take a pregnancy test.. cause if it shows up positive then what will I do. Please help I’m scared and terrified..

I had pregnancy scares all the time. I’m 17 and my boyfriend and I have been active for 1 year and 3 months. We have always taken a test and I used to take birth control but it makes me throw up. The best thing to do is TAKE A TEST. Then be protective. I know it’s hard to be safe TRUST ME 😂 it’s a whole different feeling but girl were still in highschool!!!! We don’t need no type of kids right now. Period.

First, you need to calm down. Stress can make your period late. Second, since you are already late on your period, you need to take a test. You have to do it sooner or later to find out. If you don’t want to be pregnant, you NEED to have protected sex. Period. Educate yourself about birth control options before you engage in any sexual activity. You need to be responsible about sex, especially since you’re really young. On the other hand, if you do end up pregnant you need to explore your options. Whether that means terminating your pregnant, adoption, etc. Depending on where you live your options may be more limited than others. And you might need to get your parents involved, since you’re a minor. Best or luck. Please practice safe sex.

Well the only way to find out is to take a test, the earlier the better, if you are wanting to get rid of it, it will be easier to pass rather than leaving it till later which can cause complications.

I would buy a test and just take it. If you're not pregnant you really should be using some form of protection. I recommend condoms because the statics out there about STIs are quite scary. Also dont have the mentality that it can't happen to me or just once without a condom it can't happen as it very well can. I got pregnant my senior year of high school because I believed he was really "too big" for the condom and that he was good at pulling out. I now have an almost 11 year old. With my 9 year old we had sex one time without a condom. He was out of state helping his parents move for 2 weeks. He came home, we didn't have a condom so we said what are the odds we will get pregnant if we only have sex once without a condom. Two weeks later I missed my period and shes now 9. If you're not pregnant this is a fantastic learning experience. It's scary to get pregnant so young. Its embarrassing having to tell your friends and family that you're pregnant. Its heartbreaking when all your friends move away to college and are always out having a good time but you cant. You miss soo much being a young mom. I wouldnt change my kids for the world but I definitely want them to have time to experience life and adulthood without being tied down to children.
