Fat pad / buried penis?

Hi
We have a doctors appointment this week anyways. But I know I shouldn’t google. But I did. 
At his younger appointments doc said this penis that retracts was normal and due to a fat pad he’ll outgrow. 
Now ar 7 months. It hasn’t gone away and I started reading it requires surgery to correct and it’s called a buried penis?! 
I’m freaking out. 
Anyone have any insight??

My won has that too and his pediatrician said it's totally normal and will work itself out as he gets older.

I am pretty sure my son has the same thing! I asked about it at an earlier appt and his doctor wasnt worried. He is now 7 months and it still hasn’t changed. I still have to pull the skin back to clean around his penis when I change his diaper. I don’t remember this happening with my first son which was why it seemed odd.

Was it normal when he was born? If so then absolutely nothing to worry about :) 
My youngest is 7 months also and has same issue. He was a big baby born (9lb 15!) and being EBF is a lovely little ball of chubby babyness!! As he got chubbier, so did his fat pad and his perfectly normal penis can now resemble a belly button some days!!! 
Having an elder son who never had this issue, I’ve got to be honest, I panicked and started googling all kinds of things but following his check up with doc I was reassured that this is completely normal. Doctor used two fingers to push back the fat pad and sure enough, out popped a perfectly normal little penis. Doctor said as soon as he starts crawling / walking, the chubbiness will drop off and his willy will soon reappear again.
