Announcing?

Is anyone here planning on NOT announcing? I've been having highly mixed feelings about announcing since the beginning.. I'm thinking I probably wont even tell family until I'm 16+ weeks and that's only because I'll have to go to so many doctor's appointments.

We aren’t going to tell anyone until I’ve hit at least 12 weeks, which will be around mid June 😊
Plus we want to tell them in person, so we could be holding off for a bit longer depending on how long lockdown lasts. 
As much as I would love our parents to know, I want to make sure everything is ok before we tell anyone.

This is our first so we are telling our parents and siblings after the 1st ultrasound and then we will announce to friends and the world after the first trimester

My husband and I told our parents and I told my best friend but we are waiting to tell everyone else after my first ultrasound which will be at 8 weeks to make sure everything is ok with baby.

I want to wait until at least 20 weeks to tell family and friends. Ideally I told my husband I wanted to wait until 30 weeks but I’m not sure he was on board with that so he at least agreed to 20. We didn’t tell family until 16 weeks last time and didn’t announce on social media until 23 weeks. We won’t announce on social media this time most likely.

We want to be able to tell friends and family in person when we know the gender, ideally first week of June when I’ll be 12 weeks. If restrictions aren’t lifted by then, we’re probably going to wait. 
As far as the rest of the world, probably won’t say anything.

Because I lost my last one a little before 12 weeks, I won't even tell family until quite a bit after that. I couldn't even tell anyone I miscarried, I was so upset. My husband had to call everyone. I probably won't say anything on social media until after we find out the sex.
