Is this normal? I google this question and I get all kinds of results but have been seeing “your child should know 50 words by 18 months”

That’s not happening here...

My son knows mama and dada, and knows the cow says moo and maybe 3 other animal sounds that he sometimes does. He grunts a lot and points.

He’s my only child and since the quarantine, he hasn’t had any interaction with other children.

I play with him practically all day cause I’m home too and we read soo much and sing and dance but I don’t know why he isn’t trying to repeat words.

I see my friends with kids (mainly girls) who are younger than him and talking a lot and singing in videos online. Should I be worried??? Everyone tells me “boys talk later than girls” but I hate feeling like I’m doing something wrong...

Mamas, have any of you been where I am now and can offer me any advice?
