What’s with the negativity? I did this as well WITH MY FIRST, and the lactation consultant as well as the nurses were in awe that I had extra milk to give to my boy because it took a while for my milk to come in!

Everyone’s negative comments are ridiculous. 
Proud of you momma. Keep up the hard work I’m mean I breastfed while pregnant twice for 6 months before 2nd and 4th baby were born.
Uneducated people always criticize with there curious little brains. 
You got this ❤️ so for the first 3 days with my 3rd my milk didn’t come in completely I would say like 2oz every 2 hours for the first couple of days

Well done mumma. Even if you don’t end up using it all. I think I ended up using 30ml all up, its great to have in the freezer if Bub ends up sick.

A baby drinks (on the higher end) about 500mLs of colostrum in the first 72hrs of life. Kellymom.com has a chart you can look at.

Awesome job! I did this with my second baby and he ended up in the NICU for 4 days so it was awesome to be able to feed him colostrum and not entirely rely on formula! The nurses were super impressed with it and my milk was in by day 3. Most of his NICU feeds were from me! Hospital has freezers for storage. Anyone questioning you is just jealous they didn’t think to do this for their own baby! Way to go!

Never did this. Don’t take it to the hospital, you have no way of storing it properly.

You dont really need to take any. Theyll request you go straight to the breast but you can take as many of those as you want
