Baby shower?

When are you thinking of having your baby shower? My sister and mom hosting the shower. I’m due to be induced at 39 weeks so they are thinking one month before that. Is 35 weeks a good time for a shower? I’ve never had one before 😉

I’m due October 17th and my mom has a place booked for August 30th. September is pretty booked up for weddings and such so webhadti work around it.  Now its just hoping covid19 gets less by then.

I had mine for my first pregnancy at 30 weeks! It gave me lots of time to get everything organized, return anything I needed to & buy anything I needed that we didn’t receive as gifts! Especially if you’re on a tight budget, it’s better to have several weeks to kind of spread out the spending, rather than have to buy it all at once! Plus, I had a fun time since I hadn’t started getting hip pain or “lightning crotch” yet lol.  I really recommend doing it early!

I’m due October 5th and my baby shower is going to be the first weekend in august that’s due to my moms work cause since or if schools start back up it’s her black out time.

I was planning on having one in late July or early August (due at the end of October, just want to have it plenty in advance in case if early labor, it’s my first baby). But with Covid-19 I have basically told my mom and cousin who were hosting it to not plan anything until later. So we may end up not having one

I had mine around 33 weeks I think, but I had to fly back to my home state and my doctor (and insurance) wanted me grounded by 35, which was good because baby came at 37 weeks!

A month is pretty typical. I had 4 separate ones, so we started 2 months out I think.

I’m doing mine a month before my son is due he’s due October 11th .. but I’m having 2 baby showers one in New York and one in Atlanta.

I'm looking at middle of sept. But I am honestly waiting a little bit longer to see what happens with COVID-19. I don't want to get my hopes up for an awesome shower , just to not be able to have it( we had to cancel our honeymoon BC of COVID and I'm crushed...we were suppose to leave for Hawaii 4/25)
