Uuugh vasectomy vent

My husband had his vasectomy December 18, the post vasectomy test was March 27 at the earliest, but the doctors office is no longer taking samples because of COVID-19 (which, weird, because you'd think that they'd USUALLY be handling semen samples with gloves and washing their hands when they're finished 👀) so we got this post vasectomy sperm count home test thing online and it was negative (good, no sperm) but I'm still way too anxious to stop using condoms until we have a lab test confirmation anyway and it's so annoying and inconvenient and I just felt like venting 😂 I was so excited for my husband to have his vasectomy and now I don't even get to enjoy it haha 😤 though at least he's already had it done! My heart goes out to everyone whose procedures were canceled or rescheduled because of COVID-19 💔

I wish my husband would get a vasectomy. I would be so upset if I got pregnant again. I love my girls, but babies are exhausting.

For real. There's zero chance I'm having another kid! Two is MORE than enough! I have no clue how people decide to have 3+ kids. One is fine, two is INSANITY 😂

How did I guys know you were done having kids ? We’re looking into vasectomy cuz we really can’t pay for more kids and I’m older but it just seems so permanent

I've had a couple pregnancy losses so I wasn't really interested in being pregnant again, so after we had our second baby we were pretty certain that was it. My husband and I also both come from families with 2 kids so it makes sense to us to have two. Plus, I personally have a really hard time with the baby phase of things, I prefer toddlers and older kids, so I don't think I'd really want to do it again. And, after having the second kid and seeing the amount of chaos that happens, I can't imagine adding more chaos to the mix! Wanting another kid but not having one because of financial reasons is rough, but reasonable. Only you can decide what you want or can handle. Good luck!

Oh no! Bummer!!! My husband was able to get his sample in juussttt before all of this hit the fan. I'm surprised you guys had to wait so long to put a sample in. He did his beginning of February and was able to put a sample in A few weeks after. Which is when he had "Cleared the pipes enough" lol. But he had the type of vasectomy that never ever fails. I guess there are several types some more effective than others. The doctor he went to said he did all three to insure it's most effective 😬 I'm surprised they can't do like just even a drop off!!! Bummer! Anxiously awaiting life to return to normal, but it isn't looking like it's in any rush. 😔

My sister got something in the mail that it’s time for her annual Pap smear but to not show up. Basically what I am gathering is that ppl aren’t supposed to go to the doctors. Health care workers are being laid off unless they work in ER dept. Some of this stuff just seems wrong. We should keep the health care system fully in tact if we want a complete health care system for the future.

Yeah my husband's was cancelled due to the pandemic. It's the right call, but still sad.
