Working Out
Hello Everyone,
I’m currently (almost) 22 weeks pregnant. I’ve been having pretty consistent lower back/tailbone pain. I’ve played competitive sports my whole life so could be that paired with the strain of pregnancy. However my doctor, at my most recent appointment, told me that I shouldn’t run anymore. Apparently tailbone pain can be a sign of early contractions, and running itself can cause early labor. I’m pretty bummed about it, running is one of the only outlets I have to clear my mind. I also have noticed an increase in weight gain since I stopped running. If anyone has any workouts that they know to be safe for pregnancy, circuits, cardio, or just any tips I’d really appreciate it. Thank you!!!
