At my 37 week appointment today, my OB mentioned she might do a stretch and sweep next week. She then went on to tell me to get an ultrasound done right before my appointment next week so we can discuss induction dates for either week 39 or 40, and I got distracted and forgot to ask for more details.

I'm now wondering if she really is intending to do a sweep next week. With my first, the sweep started my contractions and I had him the next morning...so I wouldn't be surprised if I go into labour this time as well - and I don't see why I would need a sweep if we are talking induction for 39 or 40 weeks.

Gah. I need to start writing down notes when I'm at these appointments so I ask the questions then and there. 🤦🏽‍♀️
