Cloth diapering?

We’ve got a cute little stash going! 
Who else is cloth diapering, better yet who has done it before? I’ve read a million blogs and watched YouTube videos but I’m always wanting advice on washing, technique, favorite types/brands.

We aren’t finding out the gender, so trying to keep them gender neutral.

I’ve cloth diapered for all 4 of my kids! I use flip diapers from bum genius. The covers are reusable so you only need around 10 covers and 20 inserts. To be fully set.
Snaps last long but you can replace Velcro if you sew and Velcro are easier for others to change because they are more like disposable.
You will need a diaper pale I wash every other day or every 2 days depending on the age. 
You don’t wanna to use diaper creams on them as it will cause staining so you want to get some felt Incase you need rash cream. 
I make my own soap it’s 
1 cup borax 
1 cup washing soda
1 cup baking soda 
Mix and add 2 tablespoons per load
You can dry inserts (covers tend to not last as long if you do them) but sun drying helps with poop stains. 
Any questions don’t hesitate to ask.
Down the line a diaper sprayer is a nice thing to have too. But not needed until when start feeding solids!!

I have a couple Bella Luna newborn diapers (need to get more) and over 30 Bella Luna one size. I tried with my daughter but couldn’t figure it out quite well so I’m hoping I can do it with this baby. Bella Luna is my favorite cloth diapers but expensive.

I clothed diapered my first from 9 months til about 19 months. But once my second was born I fell off the train cause I was too busy adjusting to having two to wanna worry about diaper laundry. I never ended up cloth diapering my second, and honestly idk if I’ll end up cloth diapering my third who’s due in September. Not because I didn’t/don’t like cloth diapering or I had issues, like I said I fell off the train, and got lazy I guess. It’s totally doable, and if this is your first it will definitely be doable, it’s doable with having multiple kids, you just gotta be motivated to do it. I was dealing with a lot of ptsd and postpartum depression and anxiety after having my second (ptsd was not from the birth/labor) and I just felt like it was too much to ask of me at the time.
