Pelvic girdle pain?

I didn’t have pain like this with my first. It’s painful to get off the couch. I can barely walk when I first get out of bed. I can’t sit on the floor without pain. It hurts in my lower back and hips. Is this pelvic girdle pain? Is anyone else struggling?

Welcome to the club! I have been having this pain since my second trimester started! Hurts and sore like I have been riding a horse for days, and when I get up from anywhere I have to waddle for awhile. Honestly, walking around or standing is the only time it goes away, but I live in Spain and right now the ticket you for being out of your house without good cause, so long walks is something I have to looks forward to! Just remember, the hormones are helping your pelvis change shape to open up for birth, so as painful as it is, it’s making more room ;)

I'm in the same boat! Second baby, definitely wasn't like this with my first. I've tried stretches and sitting normally on chairs (I normally sit on my legs or cross my legs) and I think that helps some - I had read keeping your knees together eases this. Otherwise I've been wearing my belly band when it's acting up and that has helped me.

Second baby here & feeling the same pain! When I sit down for a long period of time it hurts to get up. The pain generally goes away once I walk it off.

Yes. I could have written this myself. Getting out of bed is absolute torture. 😭 So is putting pants and socks on first thing in the morning. It’s like I always have pulled muscles in my groin.

I've been having it too, it's a nightmare!
It started at 19 weeks!
I do recommend that you speak to a doctor about it and see a physiotherapist. I does help a lot and can ease off a little xxx

I was literally just googling this. At first I thought my pregnancy pillow was causing the pelvic pain but it has got really bad! Rolling over and getting out of bed is so hard! I'll try wearing my belly band tomorrow and see if that helps. Not sure what else to do!
