Catering/Planning for a Wedding?

Hi everyone!!! So my boyfriend and I have talked about getting married soon, possibly in a year or two. We already know we want a smaller wedding. Maybe about 50 people maximum, honestly possibly less than that, mostly just family and close friends. We don’t want to spend too much money on our wedding, because we’re trying to save up for a house. I want to do a reception because those are fun, but we have to keep a pretty low budget. If I were to do a reception, how should I cater food for everyone? Should I order from some type of restaurant with a catering service, or should I do a potluck sort of thing since it’s a small amount of people? What are your experiences with your wedding planning, and do you have any advice? Thank you all so much!! ❤️❤️
