Using Nicknames for vagina?

So I know parents use nicknames for penis for boys, like willy, wee wee, PP, bird etc. There’s so many I’ve heard over the years. But I haven’t heard of many for girls?
Are you guys going to use nicknames or just penis and Vagina?

No, please just use proper medical terms. Penis, vagina, etc. I used to work in child abuse/neglect... and you want kids to use proper terms in case they are ever abused/touched inappropriately so they can disclose what really occurred and law enforcement has a better chance of prosecuting.￼ Trust me, teach proper medical terms!

Penis and Vagina and Testicles aren't bad words. It would be like hearing a nickname for elbow or nose.

Using anatomical terms, just for the fact, what if something were to happen and you child opens up to a teacher/caregiver/another adult & trying to tell them that someone touched them in their private areas, them calling their vagina or penis a cute name could confuse the adult and them not understand what they’re saying. For instance, if a girl calls her vagina a cookie & she tells her teacher that someone touched her cookie, that teacher more than likely isn’t going to know what that little girl is talking about. She’s just going to think that so and so literally touched her cookie 🤷‍♀️ they’re not bad words & honestly, a sexual predator is going to be more hesitant on doing something to a child who knows the terms penis and vagina.

I’m using the proper term. I correct my MIL and my mom when they try to call it something else. There’s nothing shameful about using the proper terms.

Proper anatomical terms! And technically you’re probably referring to your girl’s vulva, which is the proper term for all of the outside parts. The vagina is just the actual hole 😊 My 3 year old has been taught vulva, and knows that her baby brother has a penis. It did get kind of dicey when she asked “what’s that mushy stuff under his penis?” I told her the names, scrotum and testicles, but was a little bit at a loss when she asked what testicles were for 😂 luckily she was ok when I just changed the subject!
