i currently have the IUD and i’m looking to switch.. i’m sexually active. comment any others pls !!

Taking the pill regulated my period and my hormones but I did gain weight. However I still feel it’s the best option. I took the depo years ago and had some really weird side effects. I woke up in the middle of the night not being able to move my leg and was in a ton of pain. Same thing happened with my arm the next day. I know it was the shot because I had just gotten it for the first time and wasn’t doing anything else different. Also my sister and best friend suffered from debilitating migraines when going off of the shot.

i wish i knew the answer to this! i gained 50 pounds on the IUD and have lost about 30 of it. i’m on the pill now but i’ve noticed my weight loss slow... could be the pandemic but also worried it’s the pill. who really knows?? condoms only was working fine for me but my fiancé felt safer with me on birth control
