I’ve been on my period for 16 days

So I recently got on birth control (implant) and I started my period about 2 days after I got on it. Granted my period is very very light but I haven’t stopped bleeding for over 2 weeks now. I know this is normal for the first 3-6 months of being on the birth control but did anyone else have this experience? Should I call my doctor? Is there anything I can do?
