I didn't recover well. The first 3 days were rough, but the hardest part for me was not being able to bend over...I hate having to depend on someone else for help.

None for me, I was uncomfortable but it wasn’t horrible. Once they put the binder on me, it helped me get up and felt less pain to do so.

The worst part of it all was the constipation from the pain pills. I’m going to take extra stool softeners next time. 
Also I recommend buying extra stomach binders. It was pretty gross how long I wore it without washing because I only had one.

The first day I showered (can’t remember if it was first day or second). Just because it’s uncomfortable. Really if you keep on your pain meds and try to walk consistently it isn’t that bad.

The first 2 weeks were the worst. Particularly when you run out of pain pills. I’m almost 5 weeks postpartum and the past week hasn’t been too bad. Just sore when wake up in the morning and sore when I sit a certain way. It’s still slightly difficult to stand up.

When the medicine starts to wear off 😕 but once you get up and moving the pain isn’t as bad...having my 5 c section in July...I’ve had one in 12-15-17-18 my third was the worst!!!

I think the first 3 are the toughest. Then it gets better. I only spend 2 nights in the hospital.

Home from the hospital I was doing laundry and doing normal things. It wasn’t as bad as I was anticipating.
