Cough?

My LO coughs a couple times a day.. he's not sick or anything, just sounds like he's clearing his throat.. Is this normal? He has his 4 month app coming up and I want to ask the doctor about it but I'm afraid they'll freak out and be mad we didn't tell them before hand. Should I call ahead and tell them? Or is this normal haha, FTM here

My son's pediatrician shared with me that when baby "bears down" (farting or pooping) it sometimes comes up the other way and that will cause them to cough. I have an extremely gassy boy, he is constantly farting and coughing!

My son has been having random little coughs since he’s been born. I noticed that he coughs when he’s waking up in the morning and stretching. Doctor said it could be reflux.

My daughter does this little fake cough thing all the time. I thought it was something when it started, but ive noticed that it’s fake. She does it when she can’t get a laugh out, or if she’s trying to get your attention. Sometimes it’s random, but I don’t think it’s anything to worry about unless it sounds like its in their chest. That’s what my dr said

My daughter developed a cough a couple days after we had her outside our home for the first time in months. It scared me so I did call her doctor and she said it was most likely a cold or congestion. She told me to use saline spray with the nose Frida and her cough went away. Im sure it's the same thing with your baby, but it never hurts to ask. Our doctor was very understanding.
