How long does it take before an STD starts eating away at your tubes and womb?

I had a check a 8 months ago, and haven’t been checked since. I’m scared I have a std that’s scarred my tubes and I’ll have an ectopic pregnancy.. I’ve had 4 pregnancy’s and none have ever been in my tubes (so far) no sign of pelvic inflammatory disease as well..

Why haven’t you went in for another check if you’re concerned you may have something?

STD checks for anyone who is at risk is recommended every year, so I don’t think you are in any danger of damage after only 8 months.  Keep up regular testing, and you should be ok 😊

If you’ve had a new partner I’d recommend going in, But routinely it’s done once a year. Why do you feel like you have something?
