When to STOP unisom/b6

Question

For those of you that started taking unisom/b6 for nausea in first trimester, when did you stop? Each night I’ve tried to stop taking it I get insanely nauseated the next day. I’m only taking 12.5mg unisom and 25mg b6 at night, but I wanted to try to stop!

21 weeks and I still take it. My doctor said it’s safe for the entire pregnancy.

I’m 18 weeks and still taking it. Every time I try to stop I get sick quickly. My doctor said if by 20 weeks I still need it, I probably will need it my entire pregnancy. So I will test going off of it again around 20 weeks and see if the nausea hits me hard again.

My doctor said I could take it the whole pregnancy. I take half a pill otherwise I cannot sleep.

I stopped around 14 weeks. My midwife said that the first 3 days off of it are terrible. She was right but after that I was better!

Following! I forgot mine last night (15+1) and have been vomiting and nauseous all day so definitely not ready to stop it yet. Ugh.

I just stopped and I’m 24 weeks.  I had a couple of rough days but I seem to be good now.  I also tried previously to stop but was so sick i had to be on it.  Don’t worry about still taking it, you have to be able to function and also sleep, and doctors say you can take it the whole way through.

I took it until about 25 weeks or so.  But before I completely stopped, I had started splitting the unisom pill in half to try to help wean myself off.  Doctor even said to do that.  First couple of days I was still a tad nauseous but then it eventually went away.

I stopped at about 21 weeks. I tried around 18/19, definitely not 😂

I tried at 17 weeks but ended up in the ER for fluids. Last night, at 23+2, was the first time I went the next day without vomiting after not taking my Unisom.
