Do you think they should go to prison?

So do you think that kids/teens who are molested/raped for years by someone have the right to kill their molester/raper? 
I watch a lot of crime shows or documentary that put the poor teens in prison for life just because they killed the person who was ruining their life.. I honestly believe they shouldn't be in prison for life or get the death penalty for it.

Depending on the exact situation of course, I think it should be counted as self defense. 
What qualifies as “justifiable homicide” (self defense) is weirdly limited. Like you’re allowed to kill someone if they pull a gun on you (because THATS self defense) but you’re not allowed to kill someone who is perpetually threatening your safety with repeated abuse just because you weren’t in immediate life or death danger in that very moment...?

Depends. Was the rapist killed while or during the period of abuse or the victim grow up and decided to take revenge?

If it's an act of self defense in the moment, then I feel it could be justified, but I don't think someone should legally be able to seek out their abuser and kill them.

Not prison. They need to be brought to a place where they can live with others who have been through the same thing and get counseling until they can cope in a healthy manner and be productive members of society. I’d rather have tax dollars go to a program like that than keeping them in prison.

Did they kill the person in self defense while the person was doing the act? Or did they run into/hunt that person down and attack them and kill them? 
Self defense is self defense. Maybe a fine or something, but not prison.
If they purposely go and attack and kill them they should definitely go to prison. Killing the person who violated you will not make things even, it brings you down to their level and you lose your morals.

Rapists and molesters deserve to die. A lot of them don’t ever go to jail, because there isn’t enough evidence, or it happened too long ago, or no one believes the victim, and then they go on to abuse more people. My father sexually abused his sisters when they were younger, but it was covered up. So when he was older, he abused other young girls he knew, he raped girls he dated, and he molested me. I was terrified to say anything for the years that it went on, so when I finally was away from him and it came out, they said they couldn’t do anything because there wasn’t enough proof. Even though multiple people said the same thing about him. And now I’m terrified that he will abuse my five year old sister when she has to be at his house. He’s never going to go to jail for it, and I honestly believe that someone like that deserves to die, before he abuses more people.
