What does it mean if he says "You are attractive in your own way?"

Is that a good thing or bad thing???

He said I'm attractive in my own special way. What does he mean by that???

He barely compliments me but yet would always ask for pics of me. And claims to like a lot.

I have asked him what it meant he didn't tell me. So I asked if it's my hair, smile, the way I talk and my body. He said yeah... But Idk I did honestly took it as offense...
