Friendly cat part 2..

Hi everyone..

I'm having trouble to edit my post I posted yesterday.

Sorry its going to be a bit long this message.

This ginger cat came to us about maybe 3days ago and ever since he just wants to be around me. Loves to get attention and getting stroked.

I am in china and not sure if the cat is sick or belongs to anyone. However I did ask but got said yes it's a neighbors cat (I think they just said that to get it out the way)

Anyway. I put a box outside with a blanket in and he sleeps in it and gets out as he likes.

I gave him some wet food (whiskers) and mixed some tap water in as he doesn't drink water on his own.

I gave some milk and then watered it down a bit and he drank that but does not drink plain water.

He loves to play and catch / play with little butterflies and tries to catch birds and so on but I worry why he meows so much.

He goes to the loo and his #2 is water though. Could it be of the food or the watered down milk? Or sick..

He did have some grass to eat as I know his tummy is not good.

Does not vomit.

Not sure how old he is.

Very playful..

My question is if he belonged to someone then why isn't he at his home in the day time and night time?

I dont have the money to take him to see a Dr now only next month. But have wet food for him because his very hungry.

Ps.. it's also quiet hot here at times so not sure if it's also the heat making him meow as it's hot or what it can be.

I just wish I can speak and understand cat language.

However.... I do have a baby girl of my own living with my mom overseas and yes I DO miss her and it breaks my heart not to see her everyday and play and cuddle and love and so on..

But I am a big animal lover especially cats and I worry that's all.

Please there's no need for any rude comments saying I'm a B*tc... and I moan and this and that. I simply just ask for some advice on what I can do or what might be wrong.

Many blessings and please stay safe!!

Don’t give him milk. Cats can’t digest it at all and it’s a myth that it’s good from them. I’ve fostered a lot of cats and kittens from shelters and strays and almost all of them have some type of worms. When you can get him to a vet ask for a fecal test and deworm him. For right now you might be able to give him a flea prevention medicine that also kills international worms as well.

Yep if they have wet food then they might not drink much water at all. I truthfully wouldn’t worry much about him sleeping on you and cuddling with him. Also get him neutered if you can when you take him to the vet and check for a microchip. It sounds like you have a new cat though lol so just love on him and enjoy the company.

Yes. Milk is not good and I did try some water but luckily he has some water with his wet food so I guess its good.. I will definitely TV ake him to a vet as soon as I have the money for it (next month) he loves to sleep on my lap hope that won't be bad for me.
