I lost my virginity today, and my boyfriend had a hard time feeling anything, and struggled to stay hard

The title pretty much sums it up. I lost my virginity today, and I loved it, except my boyfriend said that he couldn’t really feel anything but warmth and he has a hard time staying erect. He assured me that he was aroused and that this was none of my fault. Can anybody give me answers as to what happened there? I’ve never seen a guy not enjoy sex, and it was like the tables flipped because I enjoyed it, a lot. Any answers or advice would be extremely helpful! Thanks!
