Does pump supply stay the same?

Question

If I pump consistently everyday at the same times will my supply increase or stay the same? I’m just curious for when my baby starts taking more ounces at each feeding.

Depends how often you're pumping. In my experience, my supply kept increasing when I pumped 7-8 times a day. I did that for the first 3 months, and once I dropped to 6 pumps, it stayed the same. Then when I dropped again, it started going down. Not saying 6 pumps will keep you the same, but I think the more times you pump, the more it'll increase. If you want to drop pumps, you can drop a pump for a couple days and see how it affects your supply. It takes a couple days usually for your body to react to a change in how often you pump.

As long as you are emptying your breasts out, it should stay the same.  To increase, drink more water, pump more often, eat oatmeal, etc
