Do babies have to be swaddled?

Question

My baby is 15 weeks old and never liked being swaddled. Is there a safety risk to him sleeping unswaddled? 
**He sleeps next to me in a bassinet and hasn’t rolled over yet. He sleeps from 10p-5am and pretty much has since 8 weeks old.

Nope. Ive never swaddled my baby. The hospital did when she was born but i never continued it when i got home. Baby is now 3 months old and sleep 9 hour stretches at night just fine. I just make sure she has socks and a warm sleeper on, because she doesnt sleep with a blanket.

Neither of my babies really liked being swaddled both went in normal sleep sacks pretty fast. My son though in his first like month to two months of life liked to be super warm so he would need a fleece sleeper or sleep sack for him to be satisfied.

Nope. They just wake more often supposedly lol mine isn’t swaddled either

Totally depends on the baby :). You don't have to swaddle. There are benefits to it. But it is fine as well not to:)
