Vegan Bloat? Vegan Weight Gain?
I have been struggling with excessive bloat, at least excessive to how it’s been in the past. I started intermittent fasting about a year ago now for that reason, and it helped a lot! Along with frequent/occasional yoga. But now it’s back.
I’ve been vegetarian for 3 years and slowly transitioning vegan for about 1 year. As a student living at home, I just don’t have control over if macaroni is made or if there’s butter in the vegetables, but 2/3 of my diet is vegan when I’m in control.
Since the quarantine I’m walking 30-40 minutes daily—weather permitting. And I still do yoga occasionally.
I am 18 and just finished my first year of college, so maybe this is just the time women’s weight fluctuates. I don’t use a scale, my only reference is the mirror and pictures.
Could the occasional dairy be causing me to bloat more as my body is having it less? Something is not working like before and I’m having trouble targeting it.
This change has caused me to take less pictures and that hurts!
