Must Haves first 2 weeks

My husband and I are doing emergency foster care for newborns, and are wondering what you guys would recommend/were your lifesavers for the first two weeks? We have all the basics - crib/bassinet/diapers/swing/bouncer/mamaroo. Any hero items I should get though?

Baby carrying is a life saver, found it helped if you needed your hand free or had a fussy baby.

These ready serve bottles are also nice for newborns because there’s no mixing or pouring, you just have to put a nipple on the bottle and you’re ready to go. Our hospital gave us the Similac version of these for the first few weeks (Similac Alimentum) and they were so easy, especially for late night feedings. Otherwise, if you’re getting frozen breastmilk from a bank I recommend a bottle warmer to make your life easier.

Coconut oil, girl. For EVERYTHING. Seriously. On the booty after every diaper change, dry skin, scratches, for baby massage after baths... it does it all.

My son loves this white noise machine we have. My favorite setting is the brown noise. Helps him rest better!
