How often do you feed your newborn?

I was feeding him whenever he was hungry but if he went 2 hours without any hunger signs I was feeding him. So basically whichever came first (he's 5 months now and gets fed on demand)

A mix of every 3 hours to when she shows she's hungry. If it's been 3 hours and she hasn't shown she's hungry, I'll still feed her. I don't just rely on feeding cues because babies don't always show feeding cues and sometimes when they do, it's when they're already starving. So for now, while my baby is this young (6 weeks) I feed her every 3 hours unless she shows feeding cues sooner.

Depends how you are feeding baby. If you are breastfeeding you should be doing it on demand as often as baby wants. This will help your supply becsuse baby is telling your body to produce. & if you are in the first 6 weeks of breastfeeding or baby is having a grwoth spurt they may be cluster feeding which is completely normal.
Bottle feeding is different though. Babies that are bottle fed can be over fed which can lead to discomfort & possible upset stomach. So having a schedule can work better so you know how much they are getting & how often.

Whenever they were hungry. Whether it was every 30 minutes or every hour/2hours. Once she hit 2 months old she would eat every 2-3 hours

I always did on demand.  A newborn instinctively knows what they need.  I’d they’re hungry, feed them
