When did you baby start holding bottle up WHILE Sitting?

My baby is 8 months old but still lays down to drink from bottle. He hasn’t figured out to tilt head back/lift bottle higher while sitting. But he does hold his own bottle while laying down and drinking.

That’s very normal. Sitting and tipping the head back to drink is very difficult.

My son is 7 months old and I bottle feed him while he’s sitting and he tilts his head back. 
He prefers laying while eating though.

My daughter is nearly 2 and still hasn’t figured out she needs to tip her head and the cup back. But we also switched to straw sippy cups when she turned 1, so she didn’t need to tip it back.
